About Me

I've always been passionate about technology and creativity, which is why I got started building my first mobile app in the early 2010s. The app was an e-commerce platform built specifically for my father's hydroponic systems and greenhouses. It was an exciting challenge but from then on, I knew that I wanted to continue exploring the tech industry.

Fast forward to 2016, I had been creating websites and apps on the side for years. I was working in hospitality when the business was sold, and I was laid off. This was the push I needed to dive into something new and exciting. I enrolled in a diploma course, commuting 50 minutes each way from Orewa to the city, where I stumbled upon a flyer for a company called Parkable. The flyer promised free parking for a few days, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Unfortunately, the app kept crashing, and I ended up having to pay for parking.

Determined to get my free parking, I walked by Parkable's office and found an unmarked door. It took a bit of courage, but I decided to walk in and found the Parkable team at work. Little did I know that this was the start of my career in the tech industry.

Presently, my work revolves around developing for the web and mobile, and fostering the growth of the next wave of innovators, achievers, and creators. The internet serves as an exceptional medium where one can transform into a developer, writer, or creator without any external constraints.

Personally, I derive immense pleasure in collaborating with likeminded individuals and crafting cutting-edge products that excite and inspire to make a positive impact on society. Every endeavor I undertake is guided by this mission, and I strive to reach and inspire as many people as possible. Through my work, I aspire to leave behind a lasting legacy that future generations can learn from and build upon.
